Neobulle Néo Baby Carrier

NOTE: This is a pre-loved carrier, used in the sling library.  It has had just 2 short hires, and is in excellent condition.

Adjustable Buckle Carrier

If you’re after a buckle carrier that will fit your new baby, and last and last until age 2 or 3, then the Neobulle Néo soft-structured carrier could be it.  It has easy to use velcro pads in the waist band to cinch in the bottom panel making the seat smaller for shorter legs.  It also has height adjusters to fit a smaller baby by shortening the panel.  The most interesting part of this carrier though that sets it apart from the rest, is the innovative design of having the shoulder straps attached directly to the waist belt.  This means there are no uncomfortable buckles digging into your baby’s arms or thighs, and it gives the most lovely J shape for the bottom/back, which can be tricky to achieve in other buckle carriers.

Easy and Convenient

The buckles are pre-fastened, so all you need to do is clip round your waist, pop your baby in and bring body panel up and around them while lifting up the straps on to your shoulders.  A quick adjustment to ensure they are tight enough, and a reach behind to clip the chest belt is all it needs.

Comfortable, slimline and lightweight

This carrier is superbly light, with no bulky shoulder straps.  They have used a moleskin fabric for the inside of the straps and the waist belt, making this such a comfortable carrier.  And if you weren’t quite sure, you also get a couple of ‘comfort pads’ included in the box, to attach to the straps just in case.

Ergonomic design

With its wide adjustable seat, and soft wrap fabric, the Neobulle Néo ‘Préformé’ or ‘Soft-structured Carrier’ achieves a fantastic ‘M’ shape for the legs – this means that tracing a line from your baby’s foot one side up to their knee, down to their bottom, up to the other knee and down to the other foot, traces an M shape as the knees are higher than baby’s bottom.  This is important in a carrier as it will hold and support the hips in a healthy position for development.

Baby’s back is supported in a gentle natural curve.  With some buckle carriers you may find that the tightening mechanism which is level with your baby’s back actually pulls your baby’s back straight and compromises the curve of their spine.  With this carrier, because the buckle bypasses the panel and fastens into the waist belt, this does not happen.  Instead you get a position much more like you would get in a wrap or ring sling fabric carrier.

Organic cotton

Kind as always to the environment and your family, Neobulle have used a wonderful organic cotton wrap fabric for these carriers. This breathable natural fabric will seem light and airy in summer.

Cute hood

The cute little hood you see on the front of the carrier is in fact a pocket storing a practical sleep hood.  This can open out and velcro on to the shoulder straps, creating shade, or a bit of extra neck and head support for a sleeping baby.
