Huckepack Onbuhimos (Onbus) are fantastic for quick ‘ups’ and ‘downs’ with a toddler.  They are easy to put on and tighten, and these German designed carriers have size adjusters so you can customise its fit around your little one: the height, width of panel at the top and bottom; as well as around you: shoulder strap length and chest width.  They are made of the lovely soft Baby-Roo wrap fabric in contemporary colours with beautiful patterned hoods.

Onbus originate from Japan, and are simply a square panel of fabric with shoulder straps that pull up and over, then down through loops or rings at the bottom corners, and tie to secure.  They don’t have a waist band so enable you to achieve a lovely high back carry; the panel creates the seat much like a simple kangaroo or rucksack carry with a wrap.  The Huckepack Onbus are a clever development of the Japanese design, being one of the simplest buckle carriers on the market – you simply tighten the shoulder straps to a snug fit using the buckle adjusters then click the chest belt buckles together.
